Health, Safety and Wellbeing Policy

Commitment

Future Leadership Pty Ltd and JFE Global (NZ) Ltd (together as “Fisher Leadership”) aims to have an incident-free workplace, through compliance with all work health and safety legislation. The commitment is to develop, implement and maintain systems and procedures that compel leadership and team members to accept responsibility for the identification, elimination and avoidance of health and safety hazards in the workplace.

Policy

Fisher Leadership will provide a safe and healthy work environment and encourages the wellbeing of employees, associates, visitors, and the public. This is achieved by integrating health, safety and wellbeing into operations and activities, continuous improvement and requiring leadership in health, safety, and wellbeing. The prevention of injury and illnesses is the focus of the health and safety system.

The health and safety system has been implemented based on the systematic identification, assessment, and control of hazards. Enhancing workplace culture, effective communication and consultation, transparent and robust information sharing, and training and instruction, form a fundamental part of this process, whilst encouraging innovative means of reducing risk in the work environment.

Fisher Leadership specifically recognises the need to ensure that:

  • Fisher Leadership and its Officers satisfy their obligations under work health and safety legislation, and that all relevant codes of practice are adopted and accepted as the minimum company standard.
  • Adequate instruction is given to employees, associates, and visitors in safe working procedures and that they are informed of any potential hazard to their health, safety or wellbeing, in carrying out those procedures.
  • Equipment is maintained in a safe condition and that all necessary personal protective equipment are provided in workplaces.
  • Employees, associates, and visitors are encouraged to support their own wellbeing through healthy lifestyle choices and behaviours, and actively promote social and emotional wellbeing.

This policy reflects Fisher Leadership’s core value of “Care” by endeavouring to protect the health, safety, and wellbeing of all members of its community.
