Delivering on a new mandate of transformation and community engagement
Fisher Leadership was engaged by a Victorian Government Agency to assist in the appointment of their new Chief Executive Officer. The State Government had a clear mandate for change and insisted on diversity of candidates.
A highly proactive executive search across Australia and New Zealand was conducted concurrently with an online and print and advertising campaign. A strong internal candidate was benchmarked and received high candidate care.
The key criteria from the Board’s perspective was to ensure the candidates offered strategic vision and leadership to deliver quality services to community, industry and government and lead the transformation of the Agency to be a world-class regulator. Jo FIsher and David Baber worked closely with the Chair and ensured a deep understanding of the crucial context of this assignment.
Fisher Leadership provided a shortlist of highly talented and experienced executives, including strong internal candidates, that was well received by the Board and after an extensive search, a successful candidate was appointed, who brought both deep technical skills and strong people leadership and political nous.
